Release of Silent Wings DVD Celebrated on Capitol Hill

Pittsburgh, PA - March 26, 2007 -
Inecom Entertainment Company, a producer and distributor of documentary and instructional films, joined members of Congress in honoring WWII glider pilots on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, March 20th. To mark the release of the company's new DVD, Silent Wings - The American Glider Pilots of WWII, and unanimous passage of House Resolution 42, honoring the achievements of the WWII glider pilots, Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy hosted a press conference and film screening.

Members of Congress Dan Burton (IN) and Carol Shea-Porter (NH) (pictured left to right with Ms. McCarthy at the podium) as well as National WWII Glider Pilots Association, Inc. Chairman Michael J. Samek and Director Robert Child were on hand for the celebration.

Narrated by acclaimed actor Hal Holbrook, the film includes interviews with National WWII Glider Pilots Association, Inc. Chairman Michael J. Samek, surviving glider veterans and legendary journalists Andy Rooney and Walter Cronkite, who flew into Holland with the 101st Airborne Division in 1944.

"This is a great day." said McCarthy. "For nearly 50 years, our nation knew very little about these courageous men. They are finally receiving the recognition they deserve through the release of Silent Wings and passage of a House Resolution in their name."

Director Robert Child agreed, "When I was first told of this development by Inecom Entertainment, they began the phone call with 'Are you sitting down?'. With the Congressional press conference and screening coinciding with the release date of the Silent Wings DVD, Americans will now discover a new 'Band of Brothers' whose inspiring story will now be told."
