EXPO - Magic of the White City Featured on Chicago Public Television During May 2007 Pledge Drive

Pittsburgh, PA - April 30, 2007 - Inecom Entertainment Company, a producer and distributor of documentary films, announced that EXPO - Magic of the White City narrated by Gene Wilder will air on Chicago Public Television during its May 2007 pledge drive. WTTW-D, Chicago's first 24-hour high-definition channel, will also offer the film on DVD as a thank you gift for viewers who donate at the Pledge Premium Level.

"A big part of WTTW-11's mission is to provide Chicago and its surrounding communities with enriching and distinctive locally-focused programming. That is why we are proud to bring viewers EXPO - Magic of the White City during our digital channel’s pledge drive. Filmed in High-Def, this program educates viewers about one of the most unforgettable events in American history," said Jerry Liwanag, Director & Executive Producer, Fundraising, Production & Event Marketing.

EXPO - Magic of the White City is presented by Penn State Public Broadcasting (PSPB) and distributed by American Public Television (APT) nationwide in two one-hour programs available in both standard and high-definition formats. In addition, the 116-minute film is available on DVD at video stores, Internet retailers, educational and institutional distributors and large retail chains such as Borders stores. For weeks after its initial release, EXPO - Magic of the White City, was the #1 available documentary as well as the #1 independently-distributed DVD on Amazon.com.

Produced and directed by Mark Bussler (World War 1 - American Legacy narrated by David Carradine, Horses of Gettysburg narrated by Ronald F. Maxwell and Gettysburg and Stories of Valor narrated by Keith Carradine), EXPO - Magic of the White City cinematically explores the exotic, creative, and innovative world on display at one of the most unforgettable events in American history - the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. Gene Wilder’s narration brings the film to life by placing the viewer in the midst of the Fair’s excitement and drama. Nearly 28 million people visit the “White City,” which inspires innovators like Henry Ford, Walt Disney and Frank Lloyd Wright. The Exposition debuts the Ferris Wheel, Cracker Jack® and many other popular products today.
